Biography

Maj Mumbi Melody N. currently serves as a Flight Commander at the FOMC/PRAP Clinic, 39th Operational Medical ReadinessSquadron. She was selected as a Health Professions Scholarship Program scholar in 2012 and has since dedicated her career to advancing military medicine. She is deeply passionate about mentorship, education, global health, and emergency management.

Since 2019, she has contributed to the SAFPA Board of Directors in multiple capacities, including as Membership Director at Large and as Chief, House of Delegates (HOD). Her leadership and commitment reflect a long-standing dedication to both professional development and the broader health care community.
