Biography

Captain Haley S. Lord, an accomplished Physician Assistant (PA), plays a pivotal role in healthcare as a member of the 42nd Medical Group stationed at Maxwell Air Force Base, AL. She oversees primary care management, ensuring the provision of safe, evidence-based medical services to over 3,000 active-duty personnel, reservists, and guardsmen. Furthermore, she serves as the Senior House of Delegates representative on the Board of Directors for the Society of Air Force Physician Assistants (SAFPA).

 

Captain Lord’s journey began in February 2015 when she enlisted in the Air Force from Sacramento, CA. During her five years as an Aerospace Medical Technician, she honed her skills at the 673rd Medical Group. Her collaborative efforts extended to working closely with the 212th Rescue Squadron and the 673rd Civil Engineer Squadron (EOD).Driven by a passion for advancing her medical career, Captain Lord pursued admission to the Interservice Physician Assistant Program, which she successfully completed in October 2021. Throughout her training, she underwent rigorous residencies at the 99th Medical Group, specializing in diverse areas such as orthopedics, general surgery, emergency room care, pediatrics, dermatology, ENT, OB/GYN, labor and delivery, and internal medicine. She then served as a Physician Assistant for the 45th Medical Group, Patrick Space Force Base, FL for four years culminating in earning the title, Flight Commander where she led a dedicated team of 24 members, ensuring the readiness and preparedness of both medical personnel and the force they serve. This extensive experience has equipped Captain Lord with the expertise and dedication needed to provide exceptional medical care to those she serves.
