Biography

Hello! My name is Jamie Virden, and I’m currently serving as a Primary Care Manager at Ramstein Air Base with the WMC team. I began my Air Force journey in 2009, initially serving as an Aviation Resource Manager for six years before being selected for a Developmental Special Duty assignment as a recruiter. It was during that time that I applied to the Interservice Physician Assistant Program and was honored to be selected in 2018.

 

I’m married to my amazing husband, Alex, and together we’ve had the privilege of being stationed at Barksdale, Hickam, JBLM, JBSA, USAFA, and now Ramstein. We have a wonderful two-year-old son, Jack, and are joyfully expecting our baby girl, Mila, in August 2025.

 

It’s truly an honor to serve as a physician assistant, and I’m incredibly excited for the opportunity to represent our PA community through SAFPA.
