5th ANNUAL CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

In conjunction with the annual Air Force Physician Assistant Readiness Course in San Antonio, TX from March 30-April 3 2026.

● WHO: Open to all USAF PAs, IPAP students, and SAFPA members.
● WHAT: A poster display (abstract) to present an original research project. Can vary from case studies, health programs, PA experiences, roles or assignments.
● WHY: To display our PA community, show the diversity of our profession and to show what not only PAs but specifically military PA’s participate in.
● AWARDS: Per category
o 1st place – $300.00
o 2nd Place – $200.00
o 3rd Place – $100.00
● WHEN: Application submission deadline is 15 March 2026

Displays must be assembled NLT Monday 30 March @1400 in the designated exhibit area.

Those not attending AFPARC can coordinate display set up through a POC.

Judging will take place on Tuesday 31 March 1400-1500, where presenters are encouraged to be present to answer any questions about their display.

Awards will be presented during the SAFPA membership banquet on Wednesday 1 Apr 1800-2000.
