Biography

Justin Haller, PA-C, is an Air Force Physician Assistant currently serving as the Doctoral Fellow in Education with the Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP) in San Antonio, Texas, in conjunction with his Doctor of Medical Science studies at the University of Lynchburg. He began his Air Force career in 2014 as an Aerospace Medical Technician before being selected for IPAP and commissioning as a Physician Assistant.

Since commissioning, Justin has served in a variety of clinical, operational, and leadership roles. He practiced primary care at Hurlburt Field before serving as a Trainee Health PA and Element Chief at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. He also deployed to Djibouti, Africa, where he served as Medical Director, providing clinical leadership and supporting medical readiness in a deployed environment.

His professional interests include PA education, mentorship, operational readiness, and advancement of the PA profession. His leadership experience includes serving as a Flight Commander, IPAP Liaison, and in multiple Air Force PA readiness and professional development roles. He served as the 2025 and 2026 Air Force Physician Assistant Readiness Course Liaison on the SAFPA Board of Directors and has contributed to the mentorship and development of future Air Force PAs through local and Air Force-wide IPAP initiatives.

Justin currently serves as SAFPA’s Chief Delegate to the American Academy of Physician Associates House of Delegates, representing Air Force PAs in national professional policy and advocacy. Outside of his professional roles, Justin enjoys distance running and is passionate about fitness, mentorship, and developing the next generation of military PAs.
